I remember some people mentioning commercials that were used in multiple countries. This Tide commercial definitely seems like it was shot in Europe, even though it is shown in the US. Most commercials in the US do not show laundry hanging to dry, nor do they feature an undercounter washer in the kitchen. Plus there is no speaking by the actors. Has anyone seen it used as a Ariel commercial perhaps?

not this one, but...

indeed, this looks like a regular 60 x 60 x 85 cm standard euro washer.
Besides: The young girl is wearing typical euro girly fashion, you see that all around the place here, especially now in spring.

Btw: Some very tough-necked stiff-lipped mother is complaining about "slut wear" and missing parental guidance in the comments section.
Hey Americaon mom, what is she supposed to wear? A black full-body gown and a face cloth like an old Turkish granny? Come on, this is 2011, wakey-wakey!
Goodness, squeeze her in some padlocked mediveal armor, guess that will do (free can of WD-40 by me).
*headshakes here*

It looks to me...

...that advert was shot in the UK...

If you pause when mother and daughter are looking at the shorts (you can see dad reading the paper through the doors), the light switches just above the mothers shoulder inline with the bottle of tide are VERY VERY British.....not to mention the panel radiators you see when the daughter comes back wearing the shorts scream 'Europe' rather than Nth America...
