International Wash-In - Canada meets Australia

My hubby and I have spent most of this winter in Australia and before we head back home to Ogden, QC, I had the chance to meet up with Natahan (brisnat81) yesterday evening and with Leon (mayfan69) today.

Australian Washer collections

Hi Chris and Leon thanks for posting. Glad you guys got to visit. Can’t wait to get back over there again sometime myself.

Thanks for sharing pictures of your collection Nathan and Leon. Your collections are growing and looking great, are you bringing many things home Chris?

You guys look great. I haven’t seen you in person in a while. It’s time to get back to work on our museum here that’s for sure. It never really recovered from Covid.

It was great to see you guys as well, it was a terrific evening. Chris copes very well with being a washer widow at these events, although I think he and Michael drank their way through our festivities

My mum had the washer and I desperately wanted one when I left home. I couldn't afford it at the time though. It was a wonderful machine and seemed to manage distribution and spin-up better than any I've seen before or since.

Bendix pair

Hi Nick,

You are correct! It's a 1980s Bendix pair. They work well I have to admit. Came with original manual and service receipts.
