Thanks All,

To answer questions...
duet83: The wiring for the Versatronic Sensor runs thru a small channel in the upper door hinge, feeds into the interior of the door and runs down to the sensor, the wiring is attached to a small harness in the center of the door keep it from flopping about.

CircleW: Thanks for the FYI.

alr2903: That's the original cap (to my knowledge) and it came with the bleach dispenser and spring too.

Combo52: I agree, it doesn't dry any faster, and maybe not quite as hot as my Frigidaire flowing heat. But I think I'm going to love doing comforters in there.

mickeyd: I'm glad you're enjoying the pulsator -- I'm still tired, lol...

maypool: When I wash again, I'll get you some close up's :)

The GE big-door dryer I had must have been a year or two newer, the sensor had been moved from the door mounted version to just inside the opening inside the drum next to the filter. Does the sensor work on your green goddess? They sure are pretty dryers.

The rollermatic 12lb washer works it's very best when loaded FULL. I've been amazed at the washing that machine can do but it's hard to force yourself into that "I'm overloading this" feeling while using it.

The sensor does work on mine, but it's like a Frigidaire, likes a big load. Yesterday I dried 2 loads from the 12lb Frigidaire in it and it was very quiet with that big load inside it. Took 75 minutes to dry a 24lb load spun out at 710, and things came out nicely.

I hear you on the rollermatic, they hate small loads, never balances well on the spin with just a few things.

Here is a good close up on the deep action agitator, you can save the pic and zoom it in as it is high mpx. I don't have a very good video camera that does justice to the frigidaire abilities.

that's a fine picture. And that tub looks plenty clean. I wouldn't have a problem trusting my clothes in a machine like that.

Nice machines!

Does your GE XL dryer have any type of wrinkle-guard or press-guard feature? If so, how does it operate?
