This is my new washer. It requires new bearings and needs a could do with a new door seal as its quite dirty and mouldy. The previous owners brought it new from currys in 2003 and the husband changed the bearings last year and now they are completley dead. Probabtly because the bearing seal wasnt put in properly and so it has leaked and has made the bearings break. The previous owners now own a Hotpoint Aquarius+ from the new range. All I can say is I really like it, better than the TL21 but I still prefer the WM12. Many thank-yous to the previous owners and the bearing job will take place in early June. Here are photos. Christopher.

Thanks for that tip Marthalover4eve. I will do that now as Ive heard that cleaning drawers by toothbrushes can scratch them up?

Updates 12/5/12

I have removed the whole front and door seal. The machine is an Indesit/meloroni made machine. As Meloroni made machines that were not supposed to come apart deliberately, getting the retaining bands off were a struggle but I sucessfully worked out how to get the rings off(retaining bands). Bye for now. Chris

Bearings update

Today I sucesfully got to the point where I need to fit new bearings. The old bearings went because the old bearing seal was fittes the wrong way round. Here are photos

@marthalover4eve

This machine is a meloroni machine and I will tell you that it is not designed to come appart. With my WM12, I diddent remove the whole tub but this time I had to:( Grrrr.
