A few weeks back I made a post about a Frigidaire WO-65 and a Speed queen dryer that I had acquired, but failed to make an introduction post, so now I shall do so!
My name is Elijah, I'm 28 years old and am from Wisconsin. From a young age I have been interested in antiques and mechanical things, so therefore I was always drawn to old/antique appliances. I am excited to be a part of this forum and to gain the insight and knowledge of the many people on here. I hope everybody is having an amazing day, and hopefully an amazing year!

Welcome, Elijah,
It's nice to know that someone young appreciates vintage products.
Those "old" products had style, were built with honest quality, and lasted for a long time.
Unlike the crap that's made today that almost everyone complains about.

My home's loaded with "vintage" quality products, and I think of the money that I've saved in the bank, for refusing to succumb to being part of the "upgrade" and "Throw Away" society.
What minor repairs or maintenance that I've had to do on a few products has saved me a ton of money.

Welcome to the group. I missed seeing your initial post with about the Frigidaire Washer and Speed Queen Dryer. I had spotted those on Marketplace and had messaged the seller and was told someone else was supposed to be purchasing them. I wasn't too bummed out, since I have way too many washers and dryers as it is. I just didn't want them to get scrapped. Glad they got saved. Looking forward to seeing your progress on them.

By the way, I'm over in southern Minnesota. There are several other collectors in Minnesota as well as in Iowa. Lots of knowledge on this group too.
