It looks like a pretty cool dishwasher, whatever it is! I was guessing Whirlpool because I figured the silverware basket on the door was kind of their trademark.

It looks Whirlpool, or at least Whirlpool made to me. My family had a 1986 BOL Whirlpool DW for just over 10 years (this one looks a good bit older). Ours had the white plastic interior with turquoise racks. It had a permanent wash tower affixed to the lower rack which sprayed water up to a plastic wash arm on the underside of the upper rack. Its silverware rack, however, was in the bottom rack without any provision for attaching it to the door. This was the only Whirlpool DW I have ever used that could reliably clean silverware. This DW's interior looks a lot like ours, although ours had identical soap dispensers on the right side of the door, not the left. The vents were the same and even the bump behind the timer is the same. It cleaned better than expected for a BOL model, but not wonderful. The Maytag that replaced it is FAR better.
The builder of our house (Pulte, from hell) had all BOL Whirlpool appliances. The stove was interesting, however. I think it was actually a Caloric designed piece, but it was badged Whirlpool. It was a gas stove with the main self cleaning oven below and a smaller non-self-cleaning oven above. That was a great stove!

The interior looks exactly like an Inglis portable I had in the early 90s.
On the bottom it looks like the same round plastic filter that would wash anything big into a little cup.
You just had to reach into the bottom to squeeze the sides together to remove it. The silverware basket was in the door.
I never was that fond of it in there. I always thought it left the silverware really wet and spotty.It only had a 2 level wash but did a pretty good job

Whirlpool my parents bought in 1970 and just replaced--great cleaner, obviously durable if LOUD, but as pointed out above, a good silver cleaner--certainly when compared to the Miele I have, with the silver rack on top--hate the thing. Always at least one piece that needs to be washed again.

Porcelain tub!!!The silverware basket on the door and wash system give it away.The controls do too.Especialy the door latch.

Yes, it's a Whirlpool, My mom had that exact same model, lasted 13 years without a repair. It washed everything and it was great. It had the Super Scour cycle that would heat the wash and rinse water and get the crud off of anything. It was a good reliable dishwasher. I still have the operating instructions for it.
Had a 1984 model like this loud but cleaned like crazy in about 40 minutes. I think this one also has the different colored panels (black, harvest and green) the chrome around the door and the bottom panel held the extra panel. I think the white had black and the other two colors were on a separate panel. The chrome would snap out on one side for you to remove and replace the different panels.

We had the portable model, heavy as a washer, on wheels but had this wonderful heavy thick removable hardwood chopping block across the top front of machine. Worked great for Christmas Cookies and the like. I think it was called a Whirlpool Supreme 80 or something like that?
That thing would not die, when kitchen was remodeled mother and father didn't have the heart to convert it so purchased the undercounter model and sold the portable.
That machine was built to last forever!

The filter screens tended to deteriorate way before the machines were ready to die. Loud, but good dishwashers.
