Looks like a good washer...

But a 3 digit LED display next to all modern tech? That's just unacceptable!

And for the quality... you'll see after a while: for example, if your bearings break quickly that means that they really didn't care for the quality of the WHOLE machine...
If they last long, the quality can be compared with a Miele or even Adora washers!

But, really, they should have put a better display on the machine...

To be fair the machine is a commercial machine and it has ten years parts and labour which means if the bearings do fail which are very unlikely the machine will be repaired under the warranty. Ise will insure these machines in a high use environment for three years. The machine is an asko machine and its far better built than anything on the market at the moment even in my own opinion they are built better than a miele. I’ve had a miele in the past and compared to the Ise the Ise wins hands down. I think there is nothing wrong with the display it’s down to personal preference to me it doesn’t look out of place doesn’t look cheap neither. The asko model W6564 is exactly the same machine except the Ise is 8KG. Asko perform long life tests on their washing machines and dryers of 10,000 hours, which equates to around 20 years of domestic use. Just like miele.

Well, any machine will last a certain amount of time (depending on the brand, of course) if you do regular maintenance, do full loads instead of several small loads, if you think about the temperature and the spin speed (not always the max. spin speed)...

But the best thing about those Asko/ISE machines is that the tub is seperated and you don't have the rubber seal between the drum and the "outer shell" of the machine...

Petarp;

This is the bottom line model.  If you want a model with a fancy display, then you can go for the high end model as with any other brand.

The display is not a sign of modernity; this is of equivalent specification to the low end Miele (or any other brand) with the same display style.  Personally I think there is nothing old fashioned about this design at all; as with a lot of other Swedish engineering it seeps simplistic style.

As much as I like the big display on my machine, as long as I know how far the cycle has reached/has left to go, and this purpose is served, then it is perfectly sufficient in my view.  The worst are some new electronic machines which only have an "on" light, with nothing else telling you how far the machine is through its cycle!

Qaulity

Well done on another member getting a high quality machine, no worthless gadgets or wild claims about its performance and thankfully no loud garish display this is quality it doesnt need to shout like lesser makes do.
Technology is cheap high build quality isn't

Well done

I hope it serves you well and you enjoy it

Hi James, was curious to see how they had specked the dispenser as the older Askos had the smoothest sides and powerful spray jets that flush the complete drawer very well..., this looks like they have replaced the middle jets with larger holes to form bigger but less plumes of water!!

Is the cotton spin a continuous ramping up at the end of cycle??

Hi mike,
The fill jets do a very good job at keeping the dispenser clean and free from powder residue, the Drawer is nice and deep I’ve given up on using softener as I’m not good enough at aiming in the hole for the softener, the cotton spin a continuous ramping up to 1600. The machine is worth its weight in gold! I’m one very happy owner! What’s the dispenser like on your model?

I may consider getting one of these for my mother.

How do you find the vibration on spin? Would this do well on a wooden second floor?

Vibration

With its 4 legged suspension vibrations are kept to a minimum, but no washer has the god particle factor - saying that the Asko`s tend to carry on spinning with uneven loads, they just power through it!!,

If you have this on a wooden second floor you would need to make sure the wooden joists are as best supported and bolstered...you could also sit it on a thick metal plate or a concrete paving flag or cast like they do for shower basins - there are a number of factors to aid where its fitted but again you would have to spec the individual needs!!

Fabric Softener

Dispenser

The Flap doesn’t life up mike you have to be very careful to aim for the little hole to get it in the conditioner compartment; it’s the only flaw in the machine to be honest, I don’t really see why they have done it? But there must be a method behind the madness I just love the hydroactive drum I just keep admiring the quality and engineering that’s gone in to the whole machine

What a great looking machine you have Northernmary, the styling looks so elegant and the build quality looks strong too.

Any chance you could make a vid of this fab machine in action?

Rob

Dear DJ Gabriele, instead of making azardous sentences about machines you never had you should buy one and try for yourself. That would be simply fair...
The fact the Asko seems so goodlooking doesn't necessarily mean it is as good as a Miele (or better). Let's not forget Asko brand belongs to Antonio Merloni...
Perhaps your judgement is based on the fact that your fabulous indesit machine (I tried several instead...)comes out of the same family factories?

I love it!

That looks like a brilliant wash machine, just when I was about to come on autowasher.org and ask about these machines, has someone got themselves one.
Are the wash results good and what's the noise like?
I cannot wait to see some videos of this machine!
