Hi Everyone! Got a call from Scott (southernMDGEguy) and Hans, and they wanted to come down and see the new goodies. Of course, Lady Kenmore didn't want to be left out... So....on Saturday, we all converged on the warehouse in Wytheville. My cousin and her son also dropped in for a visit. We had a great time. We started pulling bunches of washer since Scott hadn't seen many of these machines in action. Photos speak a thousand words!!! We started with the Frigidaire. The people in the photo are my cousin Tina & her son Jonathan, Lady Kenmore and Hans. Mark

The Maytag Highlander

Thanks to Steve and Greg for saving one of my dream machines! I was told it leaked, but we hooked it up, ran it through a cycle, and not a drip!

hmmmmmm

At first the mechanism was almost seized....but a little rust buster, and she was sounding just like an ABC should!

The Air Fluff Dial

Since it was running perfectly, we HAD to try it out and dry some towels! When this dial is set, it turns off the heat by way of a relay in the control circuit.

This dial is for....

This dial is for regular drying just like any other time dry dryer. I do have to get some opaque white paint and paint behind the dial since the old paint is flecking off.
