I need an opinion from Italien members.

I recently bought some Italian Dixan (Cenere attiva and Lavanda) and I want to know if it cleans as well as German Persil and keeps whites really white?

Thanks in advance.

It is actually from Henkel (same as German Persil) but the composition of the detergent can differ a lot, thats why I am asking.

It works very well!

Dixan (Henkel) along Dash (P&G), AVA (Rekitt&Benkiser) are the main top of the line detergents around here.

I often use DIXAN as my daily detergent, the powder is a great performer while I think that the liquid foams too much in my machine.
Lavanda is too strong and sweet for my tastes while cenere attiva has a nice lingering smell after the wash is done.
At the moment I'm using the classic scent as I got a big pack on sale at the supermarket.

Your whites will be super sparkling and use it sparingly, I think it is formulated based on mean Italian water hardness that is very high in most of the country!

Anyway, if you want to try a really Italian detergent, from an Italian company, you should get Dexal powder from Italsilva, it's a discount brand detergent but it was rated the best performer of all the powders during a test of Altroconsumo, our consumer reports.

Dixan - classico

I can speak for the powdered classic formula (Dixan Classico) and I can tell it's a very good detergent for washing out stains and for whites.
It's probably better than Dash (Italian Dash) because it won't turn blue your whites, but make them really white. (the italian Dash hase too much bluing inside)
I don't know how is the Cenere attiva and the Lavanda formula but I assume it's also a great product.

The scent of classico was not so interesting, as it smells like German Persil powder. So I grabbed those other two detergent. I also have the Dash liquid detergent with aloe vera and natural soap and I really love the Perlana with camomille and lavender. I wish we would have it here in Germany. Perwoll is the same but has not such a fragrance, too bad. Oh, i bought two bottle of Perlana :-D

I have the "small&mighty" Version of the Dixan with eucalyptus oil. Its fragrance is really fresh but you can't smell the eucalyptus directly. I like that.

Dixan actic power eucalipto

Flo, I finished the bottle just before Xmas.

I still can remember the last load I ran with it cause I hanged the load indoor on the rack before going to work.

When I came home back at night, I opened the condo door and -OMG- I could smell its scent even in the hall before entering my flat

Nobody in my condo have had a cold in the following week *LOL*

So I have gone back to Rio Bolleblu, that is way more discreet and is the very only one liquid detergent containing peroxide ( not a case it has no enzymes )

Seventh Generation

Has a detergent (liquid) and fabric softener in Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender, which is rather refreshing. Not at all over powering and last several days after laundering.

Came upon several bottles of the FS on sale, use a small amount in the final rinse for certain linens. Since one does not tumble dry such things, have no idea if the scent would survive that process.
