so now its time to sit back and just enjoy for a while.. and ill keep my fingers crossed and ill pray to the washer gods that nothing else goes wrong..

Wonderful news Chris! YAY, you did it, if there is a will there is a way. The machine looks brand new now! You'll have to take some action shot pictures and post them for us.

ha ha for a while there i thought i was going to loose my mind what ever is left of it..while i was waiting for parts i decided to play with the 1-18 and that wasnt good she was way to noisy and then i played with the tag and she is now leaking oil.. so i ordered a seal for the tag and took the 1-18 apart.. well got the bottom half done with a new coupler and belt adj and agi shaft that was almost rusted in the spin tube thing, but then as fate has it i tore the inner boot so as soon as i can find a little boot were back up and runnin. i love that 1-18..then we will go for the tag. and one day after that ill try the multimatic again. god i need a diff hobby ha ha.... na i do love my machines..have a great weekend

Way to go Chris!!!! I knew that if anyone could get her back in shape it would be you!!! Now you can relax and just enjoy using this beautiful machine. Terry

Chirs:

Way to go man! You got it. I am so wanting you to come here and do the same for my machine. No I aint gonna trash it, even though it has come close. What a success story. Thanks for all the communication and emails about your downfalls and progress on the 1968 rollermatic. Yes, our machines are exactly the same. Thanks agian on my behalf to Greg and Steve for wanting me to have my own rollermatic. Promise, it is real soon to go back to the tackle.

I am so proud of you!!!! Can I pay for your plane ticket?

Steve

Congrats Chris on a wonderful restoration...she looks brand new!

And a big YAY for "aftermarket" window lids, LOL!

Wha'ts the solinoid + extra roller on there for?

(I'm guessing the two lower rollers do the spin/pulsate thing, via motor reversal?)

solinoid

that little solinoid moves a roller to kick it into rapid dry. its so much fun just wish i had more laundry to do ha ha

The Rollermatic Rolls!!

Chris:

A beautiful job, as always! Those window lids are my favs! I've also heard many horror stories about the Rollermatics! So, how's your blood pressure!?! ;-)

You need to line them up for a family photo shoot!
