Hmmm.... I'm not sure, but this may be one of the low-end models Westinghouse made in the early 50s.  There was a model L7 like this in my 1953 Westinghouse parts & service book.   Still, no door boot to worry about with one like this!

Imagine the first deal fell through

When the seller was faced with the logistics of getting that beast of machine shifted from a second floor apartment.

In an elevator building one assumes it might not be so bad, but staircase? You'd need several very strong friends.

Two people can move that with a hand truck and some skill. All you are doing is controlling gravity which is working in your favor; one person at the top of the hand truck and one below taking it one step at a time. What is awful is a 90 degree turn on a small landing when moving a large refrigerator or a 40 inch range and a mid-air turn is required.

Try taking the top off and remove the tub weights if thats possible. Taking the motor out and front panel should make it lighter and prevent damage

That's precisely why the '61 Tru-Cold upright freezer in our basement may be remaining there for posterity.  The sharp right turn at the top of the stairs didn't exist when it went down there.
