I'm still wondering whether this came from a GE plant or another manufacturer--the clock timer isn't really the GE design (with the concentric minute timer/clock set knob and start time/stop time...this has 4 knobs rather than the usual 3.

I still have a feeling this wasn't a genuine GE from their factory--the control panel doesn't have a GE feeling to me with the centred burner controls.
Your AW screen name has brought you many turquoise "eggs" for your basket over the years, this summer looks to be no different.
The range is beautiful, the knob arrangement is really unique. Some new elements & ring units and some (a lot, usually) of elbow grease and that range will be stunning.

Even the knob shapes were better back then! I've always felt GE made some of the best cooking ranges. The Canadians were so smart to fuse everything, but it's sort of odd that they put them in front where they were so visible. I'd love to see this in a 40" model!
steved...if that fridge becomes available and if you're not interested in it I might be, been looking for a Canary Yellow '60s fridge, or in pink or coppertone... those colors are my all time faves and I'd really like a '60s vintage fridge for our summer place.

The weather's crummy and the contractor who was supposed to help with some renovations in Ogden bailed on me so I was drawn back to St-Lib by a certain GE range...
A hard lesson I learned with my 2nd turquoise electric range is "Step 1 - check all wiring". It checks out and the wiring diagram is present and accounted for should I need to unscramble things.
Oh and I thought that connection in the 1st picture looked a bit loose, so I redid it. I will bet this switch (for the keep warm feature) has been replaced.

I don't have a workshop in St-Lib so I could only do a few tests with 120 volts. I am pleased with the results though! Console and oven lights work as do the surface unit indicators. Better still, the clock and rotisserie also work (video proof to be posted shortly). I am feeling optimistic about this one!

I like the fact that this range has fuses. Too bad that today's millennials would have no clue how to change one out if one blew. That is if they would even know how to use a stove (gas or electric) to begin with.

Roger the fuses aren't left open like that . He's got the cover off. Look back at the first few pics. Many times they were along the top of the control panel which had a flip top
I remember the 57 Frigidaire Super my folks had (and that I learned how to cook on) had a fuse panel under the oven, accessible only when the storage drawer was fully removed. What a delight that was to get to.... LOL

Speaking of dirt, here's the stove after the first pass. Note to self: Easy-Off Max (the low fume stuff) just doesn't work as well as the stuff you need to wear a gas mask when using. I've been a landlord, so I have seen worse...
One amazing thing: the range top and its front and side edges have no chips or flakes. That is most unusual to see in a range of this vintage!
Off to do some parts shopping this weekend, hopefully a new bake element will be found.
