"Attention all members, Attention ALL members. We're paging Mr. Bob Load-It, that's Mr. Bob Load-It of the Dish-washing department. We urgently require your assistance in this thread {To approve of all the Bob-Loads that are coming}. Thank-You"

Yes folks, that time of year again. How the year has gone quickly for me (and no doubt others on the forum here). I think this year calls for a slight variation to the "regular" Bob-Load offerings. Here are the rules to create:

<span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: medium;">THE ULTIMATE THREAD of BOB-LOADING!</span>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">#1 Shows us anything and everything that is Bob-Loaded: Ranges, Refrigerators, Barbeques (Grills), Dishwashers, Washing Machines & Dryers, Cars full of gifts, you name it, I'll bet you that you'll put it in here!</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">#2 The more jam packed, the better</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">#3 Be happy and merry!</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">#4 What? Did you get through those already? Just follow those, since there is not 4th rule (I think)
</span></li>
</ul>

<span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">So get those kitchen appliances crankin' cause its Christmas Time (and New Year)</span><span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> , and its the time to celebrate, with food, dirty clothes, packed refrigerators and such forth.</span></span>

<span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
</span></span>

<span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Without further ado, let us commence this Bob-Loading spectacular. </span></span>

<span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Best Wishes to all, and Happy Holidays,</span></span>

Not a Bob load per se, I just can't bring myself to do it lol. But here are the dishes going round tonight...

Well, I don't think we could call that a Bob-Load, but hey, its a unique dishwasher! Who doesn't want to see one of those in action? (I personally think the Roto-Rack is pretty cool!)

But I think I have to say this: Robert, you'd better try to Bob-Load that Roto-Rack before the thing rusts away into nothing! I'm counting on you to see that thing STUFFED! (Full of dishes, not broken).

I'm going to try Bob-Loading our DishDrawer... How successful I am, well, that is anyone's guess. But we'll see!

Here we are: Normal Cycle: 84mins washing, 30mins fan drying. Main-Wash @ 122ºF/50ºC, Final Rinse @ 140ºF/60ºC. (W-R-R). Wash time is usually 10-15mins shorter due to the water not needing to be heated as much (So, around 70mins). Note, there is a plastic container in the top left corner, and underneath that Rice-Porridge container lives a small glass. In between the Bowls Rack and the Plate Rack, there are some wooden spoons and a spatula. And YES, between those dinner plates lie Plastic Lids or small toast style plates.

I really wish I could add an automatic pre-rinse to the DD, just to get rid of some of the extra crud before the Main-Wash!

Holy Moly Ravioli!

That is one FULL refrigerator! Not even our two standalone fridges are that full, bearing in mind one has plastic shelves (F&P, 1999) and the other cheap wire shelves (Heller, 2009).

Although, I believe our large freezer might come close. I've adjusted the temperature on it to save energy. The manufacturer default temperature is WAY too cold, by around 7-8ºF! So I've reset it much warmer to a more appropriate temperature.

And logixx, how is it possible anything is being cleaned on the top shelf of your dishwasher, Especially with modern, water saving machines? Although, I'm sure if the machine has a soil sensor, it could perhaps add some more water if it detected high soil, to give a better spray performance.

Yes, it has soil and load sensors. BSH dishwashers work like commercial models in the sense that they use different pressures during the cycle: low pressure (and water level) for the prewash and final rinse; more water and pressure for the main wash and interim rinse). The current generation of BSH dishwashers also use variable-speed induction pumps - much like your DishDrawer.

Very Nice indeed!

Does such a dishwasher cost a large amount of money, or can it be had at relatively close prices to the "inferior" competition?

No, not expensive. Most of the current BSH models use this technology. In fact, even our Siemens we bought in 2006 varied spray pressure... but through a series of disks with different sized holes to reduce the flow instead of a induction pump. BSH dishwashers are absolutely competitively priced - at least in our market. I know Euro brands can be more expensive in foreign countries, though. This one retailed for 600 to 700 Euros and I bought it used from eBay for 300.

Wow love that fridge when you have time could you post some more info on that fridge for me. I have a Miele drinks fridge and have had to replace the glass shelving due to over loading with drink can ect. What you have looks like its ideal, we also have a wine fridge that has metal shelves that will take the weight but the temp only go's down to +5 for wines and I like beers / coke ect at +1/2

Bob loads

Expecting lots of DW bob loads this week. Washed three red tablecloths on Friday with 190ml Ariel Bio and they came out stunning! Here's my Bosch Fridge raring up for the festivity !!

P.S: When I opened the fridge to photo it, the Utterly Butterly on the top shelf made a bid for freedom. In the process of that it hit me on the head :)

Wow!  That Bosch fridge is packed!

Here's the best I can offer until perhaps the New Year's Eve load.  Dave's daughter Teresa, SIL Steve and kids, Alyssa (5) and Nathan (2) came over with tamales last night so we had beer and mescal and had a rather traditional Mexican Christmas Eve dinner -- a day early.

Just for festivity's sake, I got out the Star-Glo plates and platter.  I think I'll use them again a week from tonight.  Here's a shot I took of the finished load this morning.  The top rack isn't all that impressive, and even the bottom rack is a little too tame for me.
