My father's mother had some dishes like that, but the edges of the plates had a pattern like fork tines make when pressed into dough. I am sorry I don't know the terminology to describe it.

Can't tell for sure, but this looks like its the heavier, plain Jadite sold for use in cafeterias, etc.

I think the pattern like "fork tines pressed into dough" would be Anchor Hocking Jane Ray.

Tom, Thank you for the info. My knowledge of "jadite" is limited to what I have learned here about "jadite" mixer bowls. I was shocked at the price they wanted for these dishes. $6,000. for 800 pieces, or best offer. I posted the link to wiki
