Such a great artist. It's sad to hear of his passing, but he made many fine recordings that will live on.

I almost drove off the road when I heard the news, today. He was one of the finest jazz pianists of his generation---and the one after his, for that matter.

It's been quite a week; First we lost writer Carol Bly (grew up in Madison, MN and was a friend of the Blys), then Oscar.
