Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Calvin Klein, button fly, black for dressup

Rustler, black or dark blue, for everyday use

depends on how long I have had them on and what events I was engaged in....usually around the house I'm in shorts, but a trip to the store, then I change into jeans, and when I come home, back into shorts, so these I may go a few days before throwing them in wash....now if I was working in the yard or garage, and their covered in dirt and sweat, then they go right into the wash

Now how many of you guys, lets say, go to the doctors, make sure not only to have clean undies on, but that the T-shirt and socks all match?

Levis; never Wrangler or Lee, Calvin Clone, Kirkland by Costco. In a nutshell: Whatever fits well and keeps the sagging @$$ looking good.

Three uses max with a good airing in between. Of course being a proper lady I always wear undewear! Acutally, one by day and another by night!

If I got go a smoker's home, if they have pets or kids, or if "cleaning" entails shifting piles from one place to the other rather than soap/chemicals and water, my whole outfit goes into the wash.

*LOL*

Whose commerical advert was that for jeans where the jeans were the same size, but the cut allowed for a "skoche" (sp?) more room in strategic places. It was geared toward a *AHEM* maturing crowd!

Hey Yogi...SO you change from shorts to jeans to go to the store? WHy? Unless you mean boxer shorts? lol

BTW: Tried the Sears dual enzyme detergent and really like it.

Thanks

Ray

Hmm....

I prefer "designer" brands of jeans. Probably because I'm young.

My absolute favorite brand is Monarchy. My second favorite is True Religion. I prefer dark wash, low-rise, boot cut, with as little distressing as possible. I enjoy American Eagle branded clothing but I do not care for their jeans. I buy just about everything else American Eagle. I find their undershorts superior to 'box store' brands.

I usually wear jeans to the store or if I'm out somewhere casual. I love to pair them with a button-up collared shirt. Something you will almost always see me wearing. In the warmer months, I do enjoy a short-sleeved rugby shirt.

You will NEVER see me wearing jeans to weddings or other similar events, no matter how casual. I always wear flat-front trousers (not khaki) or a suit. Most times I wear a hat, which most people don't. I wear dress hats with suits, and with jeans and casual wear, I like the "newsboy" style wool caps.

I have 3 pairs of Levi's, 1 pair of Lee and 3 pairs of J.C. Penny Stafford Signature jeans.
I find the Levi's to be somewhat "heavy" and restrictive of movement. I really like the J.C. Penny jeans, they are of a lighter weight denim and allow easier movement while wearing them. I also think they fit better than the Levi's do.

Here is a jeans story for you. A few years ago we were shopping in a Dillards store here in Houston. I was looking for a size 34 waist pair of jeans. I couldn't find them. The salesman came over and asked me if I needed any help. I told him what I wanted and what was his reply?
"Oh no sir, we wouldn't have those in this department you have to go upstairs to the FAT MENS department for that size!"

Levis only though I've tried a few others over the years. The problem I found with 501 or the zipper 501 whatever it's called is that any of them over a size 32 waist have too much ass fabric which hangs down below the crack LOL. Not always pretty. Unfortunately I don't fit into size 30-32 anymore, can manage a 34 but they're just not the same..
I just buy whatever Levis now that fit right

I prefer Levis but I will wear anything I can get everything into without raising my voice an octive. JC Penney plain pocket are made by Levi and have the same cut so I can wear them for about a 1/3rd of the price. I also have a few pairs of Wall-mart brand that fit pretty well.

I usually only wear jean in the evenings, as I wear Dockers or simular styles to work during the day. Hence. I will wear the same pair for several days. I also have work jeans that I wear to do yard work and the such that are washed after each event.

definitely carharrt

fit, wear well, wash up nicely - 'nuff said? Launder every 2nd wearing, unless really dirty work was involved.

Levi 501s

I had the 26"W and 34"H 501s with button down for years.I had about 14 pairs of the straight legged jeans and around 10 of the summer shorts.I had the button down shirts and jackets to match. After my thyroid cancer was dignosed and I was treated,I blew up like a balloon gaining lots of weight and never to fit into them again.I gave them to a cousin who still wears them and I wear shorts and a tank top most of the time here.I could wash the hell out of those Levi's and never had a problem with wrinles or permanant creasing.I washed them and rinsed them with warm water.I'd use hot water the first three washes to help fade the dye out.It always worked and was fun to watch the blue sudsy water drain out after the main wash.

Whichever brand happens to fit well and is slightly lighter...

They tend to only get worn a couple of times a week and normally shopping, cinema, casual-friday etc, so only need to be washed every couple of weeks as I certainly don't do domestics in them

Rayjay

YES, I switch into Denim, pants or shorts, depending on the weather, for the pockets, my slip on shorts don't have them....and biker shorts reveal too much...like I'm bashful...like I can hide "it" in a spiderman costume...lol

before leaving the house make sure you have everything, easier to do the sign of the "cross"

..........1.spectacle

3.wallet............4.watch

..........2.testicle

all there...I'm good to go............lol

never boxers.....sometimes while scrubbing the kitchen floor, yes on my hands and knees with a bucket and scrub brush, you'll usally find me in calvin klein stretch boxers, at least the UPS guy does, swear he always knows when I'm just getting in the shower, and I answer the door in a towel....that'll teach him to bug me.....Does that answer your question?........also, glad you like the Sears detergent

I prefer for jeans to buy the Arizona brand jeans from J.C.Penney in relaxed fit in dark stonewash. Since I am 6'5" and need a 34" inseam and a 42" waist I have to buy unfinished jeans and have them taken up. I only have 2 pairs of them, I only wear if I go shopping(only like 2 times a month) or if I go somewhere.
In summer I always wear the Canyon River Blues from Sears or the Wrangler from K-Mart jean shorts, regular 5 pocket ones in the light stonewash.Only have 3 pairs of these.

I usually dont wear jeans often as I wear scrubs at work and I am used to a nice light cotton pants with plenty of room for everything, so I dont wear jeans or the like unless I have to.
I wash jeans every 4-5 washes as they are usually only on for 2-3 hours max.

I think most of mine are from Sams club, whatever brand that is, all relaxed fit. Summertime, only to church. Wintertime errands. Usually sans "wear", so worn only once--twice during summer when just to church. Have 4 or 5 pair, that's a BobLoad in the Fridgemore.

Levi's, 505, 501, 527 too. Hate, hate hate Lee jeans, for some reason they make me look neutered. I guess I have about a dozen pairs with waists of 32, 33 and 34, depending on how active I am.

I wear them till I think they are dirty, just depends. Sometimes I hate to wash them when they are stretched just right, then I have to do it all over again.

Hey Yogi

TMI. lol lol But I loved it. Thanks for all the information. The Sears detergent works so nice. When doing whites I wait about 5 min then add bleach and along with the Stain Cycle on my LG, (which adds extra time and a 4th rinse), the load comes out gleaming.

I'm from Western Idaho, or more correctly, Country and Western Idaho. Hubby and I have always been into horses, rodeo, and general redneck stuff. Obviously our jeans of choice are Wrangler Cut Cowboy...uh.....I mean Wrangler Cowboy Cut.

Rayjay.....

Be careful with what you ask for!.....lol

BTW...how come women can purchase a "flat panel" to try and hide their "camel toe"?
Yet men can puchase an apparatus to "enhance" their package, but there's nothing if you wish to hide "it", sometimes this is needed, although there is a web site for men's undies to order by waist and "appendage" size, are you an A, B, C, or D?, it's all about comfort, kinda like the BIG MEN's catalog for the tall guys, only thing there's no real BIG & Tall guys in these catalogs, WHY NOT!

Yogi

You have me laughing so hard. lol Of course I would not expect any less of an answer from you.

Okay......Now stop bragging. So... are u an A, B, C, or D????

Funny you should mention about the Big and Tall Guys cataloge.

I am 6'2" and at times shop in Casual Male Big and Tall shop because for my dress shirts I have a 37 or 38 in sleeve. Now two of the shops that I visit have managers that are around 5' 6" So go figuer. lol

Rayjay

now that is one thing I will keep private, you can figure that out from the avatar....for his eyes only.....my guy is 6ft 4-1/2inches tall...yes he has to put the 1/2 in there....there are some big guys out there too, arms, hands, feet, neck, thank goodness theres better options today for you guys

but yeah...Casual Male...theres a job that should be considered for the taller/biger man....how's a little pip-squeek gonna understand what the BIG guy needs....he's only as tall as you waist....lol....did the job interview require "knee pads"?...lol

Yogi, couldn't you just wear a Speedo under the jeans if you are worried about that?

By the way, I like Levis 501 jeans if I buy them but I usually get jeans from my BIL. They don't fit me (too large) because he likes the hip hop look.
