TurboDry ('Jet Dry' / 'Finish')
I've tried the UK 'Finish' version, as well as the UK P&G 'Fairy' ('Cascade) in a Bosch machine.
Both products are thicker than regular rinse-aids. They tend to leave a gloopy mark down the steel door liner, almost as though the product isn't being rinsed away as it leaves the dispenser.
This residue seems to attract the particles of rust from mild-steel items (baking trays, fixing screws on certain utensils, etc.): Results in rust spotting on stainless-steel door liner.
Reckitt's product has a strong alcohol smell and a sour note to it. P&G's, while also alcoholic, is rather more lemony, but may be too much for folks with sensitive noses.
When the dispenser was half empty, I topped it back up with plain water. The streaking of the door liner disappeared, so I presume that the drying aid was diluted to standard rinse aid efficacy.
Anyway, the shops around here have discontinued the products (shelf space, poor sellers), so I'm going back to standard rinse aids.
