Has anyone used this? Just put a bottle of it in my KA 22 series DW.

Anyone notice a difference using the Turbo Dry as opposed to the regular Jet Dry?

Has anyone used the Cascade version of Jet Dry?

Jetdry

Gary,
I had used the cascade jetdry quite awhile ago. I wasn't that impressed. I now use the regular jetdry. I do dry using heat because my electric is included in my maintance. I was always impressed with just regular jetdry. This new turbo stuff is probably good for people that don't dry with heat like on those european units like the bosch. I imagine it is more costly than the regular jetdry.

I've been using it, and get better drying results in my DishDrawer. I hesitate to make the post being that "DishDrawer" tends to be a dirty word around here, but there you have it. :-)

I noticed improved drying in my Kenmore Elite TT. so much so, I don't have to use sani rinse option for improved drying results. I can even use light/china cycle which has drying heater on for 7 minutes, off for 7 minutes twice during 30+ minute dry cycle. I love it.

TurboDry ('Jet Dry' / 'Finish')

I've tried the UK 'Finish' version, as well as the UK P&G 'Fairy' ('Cascade) in a Bosch machine.

Both products are thicker than regular rinse-aids. They tend to leave a gloopy mark down the steel door liner, almost as though the product isn't being rinsed away as it leaves the dispenser.

This residue seems to attract the particles of rust from mild-steel items (baking trays, fixing screws on certain utensils, etc.): Results in rust spotting on stainless-steel door liner.

Reckitt's product has a strong alcohol smell and a sour note to it. P&G's, while also alcoholic, is rather more lemony, but may be too much for folks with sensitive noses.

When the dispenser was half empty, I topped it back up with plain water. The streaking of the door liner disappeared, so I presume that the drying aid was diluted to standard rinse aid efficacy.

Anyway, the shops around here have discontinued the products (shelf space, poor sellers), so I'm going back to standard rinse aids.

Just ran a load in my KA 22 series

The wash action seemed to be slow. Lot of suds.
I use the Walmart detergent.

When I looked at the final rinse, still lots of suds.

I believe the culprit is the Jet Dry Turbo Boost.

Tried to get it all out of the dispenser.

Will go back to the 'blue' Jet Dry.

Here is what it looked like after taking it out of the DW dipsenser......YUK!

I noticed too on my Bosch, that the final rinse sounded ok up to the point of dispensing the rinse aid (turbo dry stuff). After that point, the machine sounded decidedly lethargic.

Diluting the turbo dry stuff seemed to improve the final rinse (spray arms sounded a bit quicker).
