John Oster 411 "Electro-Blender"

Howdy!
I have sick blender...
A few years ago we found and rebuilt this lovely 1950's era John Oster 411 "Electro-Blender".
I think it is a bar blender.
While making a smoothie, a part failed. I'll call it a "coupling" for now.

Anyone got a junk blender with this part?
Or know if any other Osters use this same part? I'll buy a ratty Oster at an estate or resale shop to get this coupling.
Ideas?

Cool blender! The coupling from a later blender should work and your idea of buying a less-than-mint-condition one is the way to go (I've done that a couple of times myself). Suggestion: look for a thrift store one where the jar is already missing - they are often bargains!

That's pretty

I'd stay away from the trash they're making in Mexico these days, though. I've mixed and matched couplings across several decades on Oster blenders (none this pretty, though).
