I noticed recently when I went to order Johnson’s paste wax that it is gone.  I know it was really smelly but I did like it and I am quite sad.  I did order Bowling Wax at 3 times the price and I am hopeful.  I don’t use it on floors but I do use it on doors and furniture.

It has been discontinued for over a year now, I think.

Doesn't everybody have a can of this stuff stashed away that's 30+ years old?

I know I do.

Paste wax...

How many housewives or anyone else still polishes anything nowadays? That and when they do it's something in a spray can like Pledge.

Nabbed a few NOS bottles of vintage Jubilee liquid polish in glass bottles. Works a treat for tarting up the Maytag WW and other vintage appliances.

As per some enterprising clever chops is flogging Johnston's past wax tins for huge sums online.

Minwax, Trewax and Staples among others still offer paste wax.
