per Rick's request, I'm posting some pics of a few of the "Console" jukes in my collection. Anyone else collect these beasts? If so, Post your pictures!

That's a nice collection!

I'd love to have one eventually, my friend Bobby (member, but I can't remember his sn), has 3 Jukeboxs (two that play 78's and an early 45 player)... quite beautiful machines!

You should be able to bake a nice pie, listen to some great music, and have level cut shag carpet all in one room! lol!

I love jukes of most any age. You have some great ones there, and I know how they must sound! Nice deep bass tones, and no crackle pop or hiss.

Can you tell us the model years and a bit of the history behind them?

My pride and Joy

This is from 1947, plays 78's. The man who restored this for me sent pictures each week of his progress. The first week the pic was of the frame as an empty shell, sanded down to the bare wood!

As far as any history on my jukes, I have none! Every time I pick one up, I ask the person if they know anything about it's history. Each time I get "I don't know" or "it was in a bar" Most likely because these things get handed down so much, the story gets lost by the time it reaches the 3rd or 4th owner! My favorites are the Seeburg LPC-1 through APFEA1 "Fleetwood" models especially. I like the way they sound when they scan and pick up the records! They are a little more challenging to fix as well, Once someone gets good at servicing the Seeburg mechs and electronics, all other brands seem like a piece of cake to repair!

Old Jukes

I have a 1947 Seeburg,I bought in Altoona.Pa,about 25years ago still running fine the plastics are shrinking,I need to write Victory Glass,I also have a 78 Wurlitzer That plays both sides of the records first year for the cobra cartridge for them.A seeburg B the first year for their total 45 player. The A could play both speeds 78 and 45.I play them alot.My brother also has a 46 and 48 Seeburg, and we both have Capehart home machines my is a 1935 and his is a 1940,both have the magazine load changers,or flipovers,Thanks Bobby
