Just renewed myself . . .

And happily it's on my grandmother's birthday - she had a gorgeous pale yellow Frigidaire thumper from the mid '60s until she died in '97. If only I had known then what I know now!  I've learned so much from AW, and can't imagine a day without it and all the great people here.

For maintaining such wonderful sites as AW and VL. Even though I am NOT a collector of any sort of household appliance (I doubt that oscilloscopes count), I will happily subscribe to the marvellous communities which you have created/enabled, just as soon as I can work out a way to get money to you. I do not have 'Paypal', credit cards, or even a bank account, which limits my options somewhat.... :-(

If anyone has any suggestions as to how funds can be transferred, please reply!!

There is an easy option if you have met or live near any members who do have paypal accounts etc.

Membership can be "gifted", so someone else can do it for you, all you need to do is show up with the reddies, or send them a postal order etc.
