Just how “Supreme” is this Dryer?

LDA7800, circa 1975-76. Same model, same color we had.

Thermostatic auto-dry, Regular & Perm Press (longer cool-down) cycles, Timed cycle. Variable temp thermostat. 18# capacity with bump-outs on the rear bulkhead and circumference of the drum.

That sounds quite Supreme in deed.  Who could complain about super capacity, excellent longevity, and harvest gold to top it off? 

 

I would say it's more Supreme than the tol electronic models that would come out just a few years after this because of the easy to replace analog timer vs. the computer timer on the TOL model that probably aren't available any more.

 

Supreme was better than the Imperial, right?
 
Imperial was usually the TOL

Supreme was one level down from that....

"MARK" was usually left for the digital models...back in the 60's+/- was for the TOL lineup...like a Mark XII

but usually depended on the year of when these designations were used for most models...
