Thank you so much RP2813

So you have a Sebo with that big round filter, another German-made
I just wonder why people are keep buying Sebo vacuums, of course one reason could be the air belt, but what more? I don't mean that Sebo is not good, I just think Miele vacuums are more user-friendly, lighter and easier to move than Sebo!

but that was just my opinion

Speaking as a long time Miele vacuum owner

Actually from 1992 first with a BOL Miele cleaner and the from 2007 with a Miele TOL cleaner, I tried a Sebo D4 that was brought along to a meet up last August and I LOVED it. Yes it was a bit larger than the Miele, I do not recall it being heavier (my Miele is quite heavy also), it was no noisier but what really made the difference was that the Sebo had a longer hose which has always been the bugbear with my TOL model where the hose is actually shorter than on the old BOL model. I liked it so much I tried (and failed unfortunately) to buy one before the stock of the high rated motor models ran out - from the beginning of September 2014 the EU regulated the max wattage of a vacuum cleaner to 1200 watts - co-incidentally the wattage of the Miele I bought back in 1992

Thank you so much, I never own a Sebo, but I know some people like them very much exactly because of that big round filter and the air control system-which I heard about- and finally I don't know why the shape of the Sebo canister vacuums are going to be odd for me. really think they are awkward, but know it's not that bad
in 90's when I was a kid, my mother use to have an Electrolux canister vacuum which I always try to ride it. it was perfect and extremely powerful, now she get a new one and I still have that white Electrolux in THE laundry room

eventually I must confess that I'm a Sebophobic guy! just kidding

I'm so glad to hear that, nice gift!
by the way I just red your childhood's range story and it was so interesting, my mother's old one was a basic gas-range with warming drawer, I guess from 1990. it is still in grandpa's basement

Well having owned two Miele vacuum cleaners (one at home and one at office) for the past six years, I cannot fault them at all, yes the filters are expensive, but allas you get what you pay for.

They are really excellent machines and I know that you won't be dissapointed at all. They really are efficient and quiet.

Enjoy!!
