Looks like a KDC 21 or 22 from the late 80's or early 90's.
Considering its condition and price, it's an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a capable, reliable, although fairly basic machine. A much better dishwasher than many of its competitors' TOL models from the same period.
Well, that alone makes it worth the (local) trip if the racks are nice. I've stripped a couple of these just for the racks - cheaper than eBay and the carcass is whisked away by the metal hawks within a few hours. If you see a white Kia rolling around with tiny blue specks in it, that's your KitchenAid reborn.
Don't drive, SPEED to that KA dishwasher. Who cares how BOL it is? Its practically the same as a regular KA, except without some of the cycles (Ask yourself, do you want a Dishwasher, or lots of confusion deciding what cycle to run?). Besides, I'm sure this would be more reliable than a Rapid-Advance model, since its just a bog-standard timer.
