Hello peoples!

Some of you may be as excited as I am that Kate Bush is releasing her first album in 12 years in November! One week to go I cant wait. She is so beautiful and talented and I have all her albums they are so great.

I found this interesting interview with her and in it she tells us that she does her own washing and hoovering and expresses suprise that many people in her industry dont know how to do such things.

She even sings a song about a woman watching clothes tumble in her washer/drier!

Enjoy :)

I love Kate Bush also!
Gee. How old is she now?
I feel like I grew up with her.
Love her videos!
Thanks for the link!

Oh, thank you!

I've been a big Kate Bush fan since the early '80s.

Brilliant interview.

Brent, it says she's 47.

I am SO looking forward to "Aerial." Does anyone else think it might be a play on "Ariel?"---just sayin'.

Ha, at first I saw "Bush" and thought you meant The First Lady. It would be cool if she did her own washing & hoovering too, but her schedule is probably too jammed with official duties. And in any case the WH custodial staff might feel dissed.

Tom DeLay doesn't. At least he doesn't launder his own *money*; lets other people do it for him; so now instead of getting "ring around the collar" he's got "ring around the shirt sleeves" from those dirty handcuffs!

Gizmo I am shocked!

Noosha Fox slept in a s s single bed and so do i.

Kate Bush is the wild and enigmatic talent behind such hits as Wuthering Heights, Hammer Horror, Babooshka, and Running Up that Hill, not to mention her duet with Peter Grabriel, Dont Give Up. All of them Aus top 10 hits. Surely there must be a Countdown memory there for some of them.

Her last big big hit was her cover or rocket man, if I remember correctly that reach nunmber 2 in about 1993, and led to her old film clips being played on shows like Video Hits, which we taped and had a huge impact upon my sister, who would dance to the Wuthering Heights clip almost perfectly.

Having re read the article about her, I wonder what kind of washing equipment she owns.
