KDS-21 wont final drain

Hello I'am new to this forum, I looked to try to find my problem, no luck
I have a kitchenaid superba classic 21 when i start it after the first wash cycle it pumps (drains) all the water out refills continues through cycles but never pumps complete it pumps for a few seconds then stops refills the little it pumps out and continues it goes tru all its cycles washes great, but at the end standing water never drains, then it goes into dry cycle, I have two new timers one is remanufactured they both work, goes tru cycles, soap doors open etc, it just never drains, after it runs tru the dry cycle i unload the dishes, and hit cancel it pumps a few seconds as its pumping it also sprays water inside, i have to do this maybe 8 to 10 times then it finally kicks in and pumps the water out any help would be greatly appreciated. Sounds like a clogged or collapsed drain hose

Preventing it from fully draining. Do you hear it draining in the sink drain or disposer? Did you install a new disposer and forget to completely remove the knockout for the dishwasher drain?

Try removing the drain hose from under the sink and let it run into a 5 gallon bucket and see if the problem goes away. Check the hose itself and make sure there are no kinks or sharp bends in it. Maybe something under the sink pushed against it and is causing it to close up a bit.

There is a blue drain check valve under the machine that may be clogged too so make sure all the water is out of the machine or as much as you can get out and put something to catch any water and disconnect the check valve and inspect it. There is a flapper inside it that should move freely in one direction. Sometimes they get stuck, or something gets lodged inside the valve like a bone, broken glass or a toothpick. The valve is a two-piece design and can be threaded apart if need be.

Start there and see what you find and then let us know.

When it does drain I can hear it and also see it drain looking down the kitchen sink with a flash light, I do not have a disposal, I did remove the drain hose and blow into it, maybe i will remove it and hook a garden hose to it that might be a better way to check for a blockage, I'am also going to check the wire harness maybe i have a loose wire or a broken wire that makes contact sometime allowing it to drain Ill check this out and let you know, thanks for your help
