Actually they were the "Kirby" of mixers with all the parts you have to keep track of. Relatively powerful, relatively quiet, and dependable but you have to wait till you've completed each task before changing attachments. I'll still go for single use appliances.
Thanks for thing of me.

I think I have 5 of them.....maybe 6.....

and yes, I have ever attachement known....several in fact.....

there was one type of coffee grinder that resembled an ice crusher, you would drop the beans in the top chute, and they would come out the bottom chute, but I was not paying 35.00 for the whole setup just for that one piece, and they would not sell it alone....exept for my first new one, I never paid above 20.00 for a unit with most parts...

Or could it be considered the "Shopsmith" of kitchen machines-the misses had one of those Sunbeam machines-the "Hubby" had a Shopsmith.I own two Shopsmiths-very nice tools-can do what they are said to do-and a good Shopsmith user can change functions quickly.Would like to find one of those Sunbeam machines in complete working condition that doesn't wear the "doesn't work" sign.Didn't the later versions of those machines have troublesome plastic gears in the mixer head-probably explained the Doesn't work signs-the early models had metal top heads and gears.
