Even using roughly 50 gallons of water and the longest wash time available, they still were not able to clean quite as well as the host claimed. I had one in my first house, left behind by the previous owner. That poor thing couldn't clean much at all. The agitator was anemic and when combined with the "Double Scrub" wash action of the swirling tub, it was even less effective. Sheets were the biggest joke, queen or king sheets would just go along for ride, barely turning over even once during the entire wash cycle.
One "feature" not covered in the video was the noise factor. From the first snap of the timer, these were some of the loudest machines on the market at the time. Roaring fill flume, whining agitation and reverberating spin, you were certainly thankful the cycle was relatively short.
