She's all put back together and running just like she was delivered from the Sears catalog. I couldn't be happier with how the installation of the new centerpost bearings and seals turned out. Check out the pics of her running at full speed. I have been unbelievably lucky in finding the correct parts and tools to fix this machine. It must be Kismet.
These are my other appliances that I keep in running condition. Yes, I think avocado is beautiful. If they made new appliances in these colors I would be tempted to try them out. But, they don't so, I repair my old appliances and keep them running. At least, for as long as I can. Besides, these old appliances work so much better than the new stuff imho. The Cutlass station wagon is just killer. I am showing it this coming 4th of July at my local 4th of July car show in Moore, Oklahoma. If anyone wants to come and hang out (yeah I know, most of you (if not all of you) don't live in Oklahoma) then c'mon.
