That would depend on whether it's a belt, or direct drive. A Roto-Swirl won't work on a direct drive because the two operate on completely different principles. Belt drive machines have a slower, longer stroke and the agitators typically have larger fins. A direct drive, on the other hand, uses a much shorter and faster stroke. There was some discussion about putting a KitchenAid agitator on a Kenmore, which would fit both machines. However, the larger fins on the blue Kenmore agitator proved to be very hard on transmissions. Finally, there is the issue with how the Roto-Swirl would fit in a direct drive tub.
