800 Years old that is. This was given to me, anybody know of its age or other information. I have not touched it yet and it sure needs detailing. I probably won't keep this but have an idea in mind of where it might end up. I have never seen one this old.

brings back memories to me <:

My grandmother had a Kenmore wringer washer like this, and in the same colour. She had told me once that she bought it for $60.00 in about 1935.

I sold grandmas wringer washer to a thift store in the 1980's for $10.00 (along with some other stuff from my house that I did not want) The people that owned the thrift store said the Amish people would come in and purchase wringer washers that sat up on legs all the time. They were easier to convert to gasoline engine power that way. I wonder if it is still in use??
The agitator just lifts off this machine, and is made from cast metal. I think if it was dropped it would prolly crack.
