Kenmore Cabrio

Has anyone ever taken apart a Cabrio machine? I mean taken apart from head to toe just to see how its put together? I recently had the chance to do this on noe that I had had around for a while. I think the pump was leaking and bad motor which I never got replacements for. After a while I decided to make the machine into a learning expeirience. Needless to say I think the electronics were overkill for this one and I have yet to see one of these actuallly run. What is the principle of its action? Is it like a frontloader in toploader mode? Can anyone decribe to me how on runs?

are you talking about the Kenmore Oasis? I have one and I would be interested on how they look inside.I am afrade to open it up because mine is under warrenty. Carl

It really does seem like a joke. It looks like clothes getting rubbed to bits soaked with dirty water. If it had a recirculating waterfall like the Calypso or Filter-Flo, at least I'd feel like there was some water going through the clothes. It's creepy watching the stuff rise out of the middle, though.

In general, I don't like that washer. The best thing that I can say for them is that they're quiet.

How times have changed. It seems that when the Oasis and Cabrio first came out everybody was in love with them. But now as a few years have passed, it seems they are not such favorites at all.
Pretty much the same thing happened with the Calypsno machine.

I still think you need water to decently wash clothes. Even if you are sending water through your clothes rather than immersing your clothing in water, you still need enough to do the job correctly.
