Kenmore Elite leaks water?

I have a Kenmore front load washer I bought last fall. Model# 796.41572210 High Efficency. The problem is sometimes it leaks sudsy water. I even had a service man look into it but can't find anything wrong!!!! It did NOT leak when he was here. I only use it for large items. It sits on the drawer pedestal that you buy for it. I was told to use HE detergent which I have from the first wash. Has anyone had this happen to them? Lastly is there a way to make the machine use more water in the wash stage? Thanks
PS. I of course checked the water hoses and drain hose it seems to leak in the middle?

First, please locate the leakage as exactly as possibly. Like left&#92right, front&#92back.
Something to check would be the pump filter (and other pump conections, but as it is under warranty, this has to be done by a technican). On the bottom front panel, there should be a little door. Behind it, there is a filter that catches coins, buttons etc. But your user manual should tell you more about it.

Your model number gives no search result on google. If you could check the number again, this would be great! (I think you might even gave us a serial and not the model number as Kenmore uses a different model number format, AFAIK...)

On the topic "more water": Well, first: It's HE. The water level usually works fine (especially on these LG made units, water levels usually work really well, though they seem low).
If it is not enough anyways, cycles like Bulky&#92Bedding, Heavy Duty, Permanent Press or simmilar use more water.
Some options work as well. If it has the AccelaWash feature, it should use more water. Or it could have an option called water plus, which, you guessed it, lets it use more water. But, again, your manual should tell you more about it.

Depending on the manufacturer,the button catchers are on all but Electrolux, Frigidaire,Maytag and Whirlpool plus their affiliates. GE, LG, Samsung, and most of the Kenmores (made for Sears by LG or Samsung) have it as well as a vent inside a screened cylinder in back of the washer. Sometimes caused by larger loads going on to their spin,there is too much water spinning out from the bulk of the load and all the already absorbed water spinning in to the outer tub. The centrifugal force mixed with lots of extracting water can escape only through that small opening barfing out the excess water. High sudsing will cause it too. If you see too many suds,add some liquid fabric softener or,take a bar of bath soap,shread it and flush some with warm water through the dispenser. It kills the suds instantly.

As far as water level goes, I have four LGs one top loader (WT1101CW) and three front loaders. The front loaders have a pressure switch that sences the water levels to turn the fill on or off. Some like my three fls,have a red fingernail polish dot on them and are adjustable to increase or decrease the factory set water level. Mine fill about 1/3 the window and allows mine to be quite a turbulent tumble. You can no longer open the door during cycles but,you could turn it off,set spin and drain till you can open the door w/out flooding your laundry area. I rarely need to add any garment.

The washer is a Kenmore Elite model 41572210 thanks for the tips on what format uses most water. I guess I am used to the old regular washers. I mostly use my Speed Queen wringer. I had to buy a new automatic when my Sears Lady Kenmore 800 died. It was an 1962 model. It was my parents wedding gift. I helped my Dad overhaul it in the 80's. That was a great machine it had rusted out iner tub. I could not find a new one so I junked it. Broke my heart. My parents probably were looking down from heaven and saying it's about time for a new washer Gary.... Thanks for your help guys........
