kenmore series 70 washer

I have a kenmore series 70 that fills then just sits there motor hums trys to work then nothing i drained and gave my better half a newer whirlpool hate to scrape it its to good a machine thx

Belt Drive machine or direct drive? If a belt drive, then it probably just needs a new belt.
