Year of this Kenmore anyone?

Hello everyone.
My interest in old machines was just sparked by this incident:
My parents recently had the spider drive crack in two on thier 2004 Kenmore eco-cycle i wont get into details but as i found out this is a common problem that is not worth fixing!
Instead of purchasing another new machine with poor quality components i found a used older model Kenmore 110.4584190 running excellent for cheap, so figuring this model was built in better days when Kenmore was made in U.S.A i bought it without regret, The Kenmore also came accompanied with an older Canadian made McClary dryer. I was wondering if anyone can help identify the year of this Kenmore?
By the way great looking machines on here =D.

Sorry for bumping this topic but the kenmore washer in Post# 557348 , Reply# 29 my grandmother add that excat model witch she had purchuse in 1988 to replace her old inglis liberator washing machine that had lasted her a long time

Thank you for bringing this Kenmore thread back. It's good seeing these classic machines again. I think everyone of these Kenmore's are very beautiful, unlike today's strange, and boring machines they make today. These classics have, style, beauty, individuality, and most important, quality, and class! Again, thank you for letting us see this again.

I hope you find that model as well. The funky console lighting has a casino-esque look to it that I think is cool; it reminds me of the slot machines I played in Atlantic City.

Kenmore 1968

I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and these are two of my washing machine collection. A Kenmore Self Cleaning Filter Washing Machine and a Solid State Sensor Electric Dryer. I'm sending two pics of them and a Youtube Link of a video that I made.

Question: Does anyone know what year the beautiful 31480 shown in reply #166 (and also here) was produced? It’s a stylish one, no doubt! Also: Is it an American model or perhaps Canadian?

Is a 1963 KM 800 series, It might have been carried over into 1964 ?

 

I always liked this machines styling.

 

This was the first KM washer I did a major repair on in a customers home. Sears had told her that it would cost over $100 to fix, so my Mom drove me over to her house and I took it all apart, the basket drive had stripped ears at the top of the shaft. I went by a local appliance dealer and took a BD out of a 1961 KM on the scrap pile and took the part over to the customers house and installed it, I think I charged her about $20 which was all profit as my Mom even drove me back and forth and didn't even charge me for gas.

 

This 63 KM lasted into the 80s and someone gave her an early 70s KM that finally replaced it.
