Kitchen Aid dishwasher-sink, Catskills NY area, FREE!

Ya can't beat that price!  Ad states that the dishwasher is untested, but a 14 Series KA can be revived...

 

I cannot for the life of me recall a 14 Series built-in with just the one pushbutton, though.  I recall seeing ads featuring the Superba, Imperial and a model called a 'Custom' but wasn't the Custom basically a 12 Series with the new lower rack??

This is an Imperial. The 14 series was the first time KA offered more than one model. Superba, Imperial and Custom. The Custom was much like the earlier 12's but they changed to a full-door style and moved the start button to the handle escutcheon instead of the frame to the right of the door.

Would it be possible to remove the DW and install it under counter?

I think so.  I'm pretty sure I've seen a Kitchen-Aid sink-dishwasher where the dishwasher looked to be much newer than the sink.

If it weren't 9 hours away, I'd consider it. I LOVE the 14 series. Though I'd prefer a superba.
