That not from the 1950s, it's from the 1960s.  It's a KDS15 with SS panels.  Can't believe someone put all those mugs in the bottom and expect the top to get clean.

Vintage/retro "space age" dishwasher (Spadina&Bloor-

"Retro (1969) Hobart slide-in dishwasher made for Kitchen Aid. Front panel and inside are pristine. Handle latches properly and the chrome is in great shape. It does not work but could be refurbished or just use the front. Also good for sets in theatre, film and television. Great industrial design and cosmetically perfect. Email for further details."

KDS- 57 Dishwasher Butcher block top - $125 (90th & map

I left out the bra photo, but if this was a washing machine……. ;-)

ad: " Kitchen Aid Model # KDS-57
We ran it last night & it leaked a bit on the floor, but it was empty so the water was spraying really powerfully.
Superba by Hobart. Daily use cycles include; full, soak, sanitize, rinse/hold.
Party cycles include; light soil, plate warmer & the cancel/drain button. Its portable. Handle on front of butcher block & wheels on the bottom allow it to be moved easily. Just roll it up to the sink, hook it up & away you go."

KD-10 With Blue Vinyl Racks

Hi Ben this is probably a later model and you are correct the earlier versions had silver colored racks, but unfortunately the were not SS but rather just chrome plated steel and most of them rusted badly. I saw many early KD-10s where the rusted chrome racks had been replaced by the vinyl racks and the vinyl racks were all that KA sold as replacements early on.

Hey Phil- Re Post 48

Maybe that Bra was a utensil accessory for the dishwasher that the owner used. Or maybe it was one of the first stem holders from back in the day.

HAHAHAHA
