You may want to make a 1 hour dash...

up to Timonium. For $25, that is a worthwhile find. If it needs nice racks, I do have them!

Allen, that's the one I would have picked out and Jason, where are all the KA's coming from these days? It seems there's more on CL than usual - good finds.

Not completely sure, but I think

the $25 one is a KDS18. Not wearing my glasses...so that's only a guess. But if it is, grab it Jason. I have EVERYTHING you'd need to restore it from the unused KDC18 I tore apart. (The motor/pump went into my KDS20, but the racks, constant rinse, and all other parts are there.)

I'm tempted, but I'm still working on the fridge and the KDI15 is mostly reassembled and awaiting a test run. :) I thought that was an 18; there was one closer (about 15 minutes away) around the time I picked up the 15, but the ad has been taken down, so I assume its sold.

What an aweome

round-up of beautiful Kitchenaids. I don't remember which link I read it on but I forgot which model started having the washer arm under the top racks as well. My KDS 16 has only the bottom one. Did it start with the 18's?

I think it was the 18

Mom11,

My 17s do not have the upper wash arm but I know the 18s do. They were the first but there were complaints that the upper wash arm was not long enough to reach into the corners. That was corrected in later models.

That KDS-15...

...probably has issues. Notice the large amount of rust at the bottom of the panel and along the top of the bottom panel. My KDI-15 has a little along the top in the same general area which appears to be from a dying door seal or the rubber gasket that sits directly behind that bottom plate. This looks much, much worse. And there are no interior shots.
