Hi all,

New to the forum, though I did buy the KD-21 service manuals from here last year.

I've been refurbishing our 1986 KDI-21A, and I pulled the pump assembly above the disposer to install a new (pn 116003) rubber boot for the upper spray arm.

When I removed assembly 242638, I noticed a crack in the lower body part, the piece that holds the bushing for the lower spray arm. Before I marine epoxy the part, I thought I should check here first to see if someone has a 21 that is being parted out.

The rest of the machine is really clean, and in great shape, it was washing great before I decided to work through sprucing it up.

It looks like your picture hasn't been restored yet. So not sure if this is the part you need?

Hey Steve!!

You sold me mine for my KDS21 about a thousand years ago it seems. Actually it was about nine years ago. What a difference it made! This is what my old one looked like.

Stevet,

This assembly contains all the parts I would like to replace. So yes, I would definitely like to purchase it from you. I will send you an email to your profile email.

Chachp,

That is one of the parts in the assembly, but not the one that was broken (see photos below of the repair I started to make).

Thanks very much for the link, I bought that part and a couple others for a rainy day.

Sounds like it will work out with Steve.

You won't go wrong with his advice. He has bailed me, and others, out many times over the years. On his advice, I did a marine epoxy patch job for my 15 series machine while I was waiting to find a replacement. I eventually found one NIB on eBay but this one worked fine while I waited..

Stevet,

Do I need to reach you a different way than the profile email? Please let me know when you have a minute, if you didn't receive my about the ASSY in this thread.
