Kitchenaid KDS-15 supra rinse aid dispenser

Thought I'd start a new thread regarding my 1966 kitchenaid. While running a full cycle today with the panel off I noticed water leaking from the rinse dispenser area. My first thought was the cork gaskets. I also noticed the rinse dispenser did not appear to work. While taking it apart I ham-fisted the removal of the solenoid portion from the plastic container without regard to its mechanics and destroyed the rubber diaghram. It was probably on its way out as I noticed rust around the spring area. Is there anyone out there who has successfully refurbished this part to working condition?[this post was last edited: 10/17/2021-22:59]

When none of the parts are available. It is incredible that Hobart made dishwashers that lasted 60 years and some even longer than that!
I actually have one of those as well as a few of the later dispensers. As well as the parts to plug up the holes if you do not want to re-install the dispenser.
