During DRY, do you hear the blower come on? If so, after 10 minutes of dry, open the door, pull out the bottom rack and, with great caution, hold your hand over the round stainless cap where the hot air for the drying enters. Feel for heat. Don't burn yourself. If the fan works, but the cap is not hot, you either have a bad heating element or a blown thermal protector. If the cap is slightly warm, you could have a rusted out dryer heater and most of the heat and air is not being directed into the tank. You are the one who knows if the dishes are cool at the end of dry and can use that to zoom in on the troublesome part.
