Prices beyond my budget--$3499 Each for the washer and dryer-and another $500 Each for the bases?Would be interesting if an Applianceville member owns or has used these.I'll pass.Very handsome looking though. How much would commercial laundrimat machines be priced in comparison-may be better to get the commercial models. For those prices-those machines should be able to sort, load, fold and put away your wash!
The washer is a Duet/Hettie in an all-stainless skin, impressive looking but the price is just shocking. The dryer though, I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could find one on clearance for about 1/2 price - that's a sweet dryer!
He was selling pencils for $10,000 each. A passerby asked if he thought he would sell many pencils at that price. He replied that he only wanted to sell one.
Most definitely applies to some appliance makers, auto makers and dealers, and *maybe even* some assistive tech vendors for blind and disabled consumers. *grins* Otherwise, nothing offensive taken personally here.--Laundry Shark
Anybody willing to share Kitchenaid washer videos of the Windows Media kind, I would be more than willing to add to my Vintage Appliance Video collection. Many Thanks.--Laundry Shark
Several years ago, I did come across a Kitchenaid washer on display at a Sears store. Of course, it looked similarly to a Whirlpool. *grins*--Laundry Shark
