kohler iron bathtub

noticed my local damaged/lost freight store has some new cast iron kohler bathtubs
for sale($200,might buy one-thinking about adding 2nd bath)Anyway was glad to see
they had"made in usa"on them(2008 casting date on bottom,don't know about current
production...)
anyone know if the faucets and other kohler products are U.S./Canada made?

Kohler makes a huge, huge range of products. A fair number of their lower range trims come from China but certainly this isn't true of all their items.   I think most of Newport Brass' products are still American made but these compete more with Kohler's better products.  

 

One nice thing about Kohler products, regardless of origin, is that they are usually easily available on short notice. Lots of plumbing fixtures can take weeks and weeks to get and the lead time can vary hugely so easy availability is a real plus when specifying them.
