I need a part!

Hi, I'm a new member but have been lurking for better than a year. I've been searching for a trunnion for my MW/Norge. The aluminum structure that supports the tub and the solenoid mounts to. If you're willing to sell, I'm willing to buy or trade. I have some NOS Fridigaire and GE parts.

What could have caused the tranny to crash? I thought Norge trannys were like tanks.

Fedders.
My parents bought a Fedders 1 Ton A/C in 1959. It cooled 3 rooms. I believe 1 Ton is worth 12,000 BTUs. Anyway, I remeber it as being grey,had the "Weather Wheel" which was a round air vent that spun around where ever you pointed it, and it had a piston compressor. Damn air that came out of that thing was ICE COLD. Just love the days of Freon R-22.
By the way, Great Link on the Fedders/Norge History. I can remember a time when a friend of my parents had a Norge Time Line. Great Overflow Rinse and just loved watching the knob "slide" down the Time Line.

Norge Air Conditioners Anyone?

Back in 1976 one of my friends lived in a house that had a huge Norge Air Conditioner in the wall. It was very similar to those that York had made as well. Also the dentist had a window unit probably 10000 btu Norge A/C. Would love to get my hands on some info about Norge A/C.
