I am thinking about tossing my KUS23 due to the rust issues and my overall disgust with the whole shipping situation. I’m just wondering if there is a need for parts or if I should just toss it.

KUDS-23

Sorry everyone it’s a KUDS-23. The racks are in decent shape one small spot of rust on the bottom of the lower rack. Not sure if it works. It has to be hard wired and I haven’t bothered.

The flatware basket on the 23s was new and improved, and I used one in my ISE 22-series clone.  It would be worth saving or passing along.

This endeavor might be better served in the SS forum so people will know the parts are up for grabs as opposed to being sought out.

Give it a go!

Just how bad is the rust situation? Just a small chip? Why not hook it up and see how you even like it before going out looking for another machine like it? While these machines are very popular but they do have their detractors. The major feature I like about it is that it heats the wash water to a preset level prior to advancing the timer so it works very nicely with today's enzyme based detergents.

If you were closer, I would take it off your hands in a heartbeat. I "sold" a KUDI-22 to a co worker who never paid me for it and he abandoned it at the house he was renting after hurricane Irma took out the house's roof and ruined their belongings. That machine washed like the dickens but now it will probably get thrown into the dumpster when the owner rehabs the house.

I could use...

The adjustable racks in the top rack.
If you can remove them, I would pay the shipping for the 4 adjustable racks in the top rack. 2 of my adjustable racks have rusted and one of them actually broke into 2 where it is rusted.

Please get back to me & let me know.

Thank you so much.
