So awhile back, trying to get the agitator out of my '71 Lady K, I broke the agitator nut. It is now broken off inside the agitator shaft. I beleive my best bet would be to replace the agitator shaft? Gordon, et al., what are your thoughts on this? Now how do I got about replacing the agitator shaft? I have taken the inner tub out. Am I going to have to take the transmission out of the cabinet?
