I'd love this dishwasher. Friends here had one for about 4 years and the electronics fried themselves. They were so pissed off, they went and got a basic Maytag, an MDB3000.

Glenn, thanks for saving the pics. I THINK this might have been the very first electronic Lady Kenmore UltraWash. I think previously that moniker was for the model with the rapid advance timer.
What would be the corresponding KA model series number for this machine?
Ralph, thinking back in time to when my friends had this machine--late 1980s to early 1990s at best--there's really no electronic control equivalent in the KA line. I think chronoligcal time, it would have to be the 23 series--the first with the PowerClean module. I don't think there was an electronic control 23 series, but I could be wrong. But in reality, the 24 or 25 KA series is about as close as you'll get.
In some ways I may be all over the map, but any KA with the PowerClean module would be the equivalent. Not much changed in that design period. So a 23, 24, or 25.

I guarantee this would be number 1 in Consumer Reports against any dishwasher on the market today.
