Owners retired from a small town hardware / appliance store in southwestern Wisconsin. Looks like some older parts in those lots, but you need to buy everything. Somebody will make good money reselling them individually. Some interesting items from the store in the other lots as well.

Strongly suspect this auction will go same as others from same area (there was a similar hardware/appliance parts auction from WI not long ago posted here in group), where local concerns will buy things up then sell them on.

Tons of NOS Maytag, SQ and other parts from said previous auction ended up on fleaPay and other online sites. Often sellers didn't know what they had, others (as in say Maytag WW parts) they did.

Thing about these sorts of sales is one has to take the rough with smooth.

Yes, there is some demand for NOS parts to various appliances, but that isn't always what it seems or necessarily means someone has struck gold.

In many instances these parts have sat sitting unsold because they are surplus to requirements as original appliance is long out of production and there aren't many about being used.

Sorry, I missed that you already posted this. I purchased a group of appliance parts from a retired repairman's estate sale a few years ago (much fewer parts than in these auctions). Mostly Frigidaire / WCI parts from the 1980s and 90s. Some sold well (stove parts), others not so much (dishwasher and microwave parts).

No worries...

These sort of auctions IMHO work out well for those local enough to fetch won lots personally, and are willing to accept not everything will be sold on. That and perhaps willing to hold onto things for long periods of time to give longest open window for a possible sale.

Oneself having been there and done that, its never again. Don't have time, patience and funds to invest in things that likely will still be here sitting after I've gone onto the other place.
