What a coincedence since I just mentioned these machines! Washer is a TOL Hotpoint design with the "Handwash" agitator system. It's a shame the touchpad cover is coming off. Dryer door opens to the left; were the doors reversible on GE dryers?
One of the shortcomings I noticed with this design is that the control knobs tend to yellow, as seen on the full control panel photo of the dryer. But this set is definitely worth saving, as it is one of the last "old-style" GE washers made before the venerable "plastic" machines...
